In a testament to just how terrible my memroy is: I just [re]discovered Yoshi and the Mystery Book. The game looks fun enough, but more importantly [to me], is the art style. A sort of hand drawn animation kinda thing. I am IN LOVE with this game already. Furthermore, shame on me for forgetting it on it’s way out sometime soon. [I just read: May 21, 2026. I AM EXCITE]

Thoughts on the Pokemon Day Video
The video came and went. There wasn’t really much for me? Aside from the Gen10 announcement of Winds and Waves (which looks pretty?)

Coming in 2027, it’s something I look forward to. Looked like there were still some Scarlet/Violet elements in there. That doesn’t bother me too bad. I do think they need to scale the world down. One of the things that has kept me from coming back to Scarlet/Violet is it’s kinda intimidating to me how big the world is. Coming from the guy that was FEASTING when Breath of the Wild came out.

Probably the weirdest and most baffling thing are the GameBoy Jukeboxes. I’m sure the hardcore collectors of the old DMG GameBoy and Pokemon will go after this, and I think at one point I would have as well. I’m just amused at the notion of essentially resurrecting the Hit Clip!!

The other thing that grabbed my attention was Pokemon XD coming to NSO. Game I’ve never played, and would love to play. Not sure if I want to play it there, or on my GameCube. Certainly cheaper on NSO. I have been told that Colosseum should be done first? Who knows. We’ll see.
After that there was some Trading Card Game and TCG Pocket stuff, Pokopia, and that was about it. Largely I was non-plussed by it besides a small bit of excitement for Gen 10. If this were five years ago I think I’d be WAY more excited about it, but that’s a conversation for a different day [never]

First post to new website is: Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross optimization links on Steam
So. A long while back: I got banned from PSN that lead me to build a PC. Chrono Cross is a game I recently replayed to beating again, it however has problems. And in my quest to understand plot things: I jumped straight back to Chrono Trigger, which I’ve found to be riddled with problems. It crashes. Sometimes it gets capped at less than 20fps. Poor frame pacing. Tanking my PC’s performance even though the game isn’t open. Even typing this and getting ready to share a link to a page with fixes the game crashed while just sitting open. It’s certainly been a journey that’s not ending anytime soon to get these games operational. At least the Chrono Cross optimizations seem to have helped.
If anyone happens across this: I’d love some help getting Trigger going.
